Summer swim team is in full swing and I am on deck as a ref for the entire meet. Used this for the first time this past weekend and it was amazing! The wide brim kept my face and neck and tops of my shoulders out of the sun…and we live in Houston, so it’s hot and humid!! I took it off at the end of the meet and put in my neck fan just to compare and i was INSTANTLY feeling the heat much more! The SPF 50 definitely helps with the direct sun rays to the head! Pros: huge brim, great air flow, solar charging, long lasting, adjustable head sizing for just about anyone. Cons: due to the weight of the fans, the brim does eventually bow a bit and even with the ability to adjust the head size, it did start to fall down my face near the end. I did not try wearing it in reverse. That said, those cons are really nothing. 100% I would buy again. Hopefully it lasts the season and beyond!
